The Formdial Ledger is your own private copy of the engine behind the Formdial Explorer — the same tool Scott uses to publish every Daily Dial bet. It starts blank, fills with your bets, and shows you the truth about your betting: where you bet well and, more importantly, where you don’t.

Log bets in seconds

Six quick fields — date, track, horse, odds, stake, bet type — and the bet is on the book. Add racing detail (going, class, trainer, jockey, trip) when you want deeper analysis, or skip it entirely. Pending bets sit on a strip at the top: settle each with one click — win, place, lose or void — with proper each-way terms (1/4, 1/5 or 1/2 odds), Rule 4 deductions and dead-heats all handled for you.

See where you bet well — and where you don’t

That is the point of keeping a ledger. Filter your handicaps by class and watch the pattern appear: sharp where the quality runs, quietly bleeding in basement Class 6 races nobody can predict. Filter by racecourse — we ran our own record through it and found our worst track in the book was Newcastle, 18 bets and 15 points down — nearly all of it on the all-weather. The Ledger made it impossible to ignore: now it’s avoid, or study it until it makes sense.

An equity curve of your betting bank. Strike rate, ROI and P/L headlines. Course, class, race type, going, distance, odds band, trainer, jockey, tipster, bookmaker, bet type, month, day — every one a filter, every combination a comparison, on the identical analysis engine you can try on the Edge Explorer, pointed at your own bets. Dial your bets down to find where you’re targeting best.

Your data, yours

Import your existing record from CSV and pick up where your spreadsheet left off; export everything back out whenever you like. Your ledger is private to your account — nobody else can see it, and it is never shared or sold. Works properly on your phone, because that is where bets get logged.
